This weekend Alicia Keys announced her decision to part ways with her manager Jeff Robinson. Robinson has managed Keys since she was fifteen. According to all press releases, however it was a peaceful split and now Keys will be able to handle important decisions on her own regarding touring, film and TV deals, music licensing, sincing and songwriting.

Some have been speculating that it’s Keys relationship to Swizz Beats that fueled the end of the business relationship between Robinson and Keys. According to NecoleBitchie.com, Swizz is feeling pretty insecure in their relationship and is trying to gain more control of aspects of Keys life and career. The website is mostly a gossip column and rumor breeding ground though, so this blogger’s going to wait for more news to come around before jumping the gun and making any definitive statements.

Lindsay Lohan is “doing the best she can” in jail, her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley says after a tearful (on Lohan’s part) visit with the starlet on Tuesday, People.com reports. Lohan checked into jail on Tuesday to serve a 90-day sentence for violating her probation in connection with two DUI arrests in 2007.

“Understandably, Lindsay’s having a difficult time adjusting as it would be for anyone,” Holley tells People. “She’s trying to make the necessary adjustments to an extremely stressful and difficult situation. There were some tears.”

The estranged wife of NBA star Dwyane Wade has filed a $50,000 lawsuit against the Bring It On actress, claiming Union “engaged in sexual foreplay” with the Miami Heat star in front of his kids, provoking “screams and cries” from Wade’s son and otherwise inflicting untold amounts of emotional distress on the tykes with excessive PDAs.

Yep, this just got (more) nasty.

She still loves him. That’s all it is. She’s jealous of Union. But if she keep it up the court will take the kids and she will be evaluated for insanity.

23-year-old star is suing financial company E-Trade for $100 million for using her name in its latest commercial about a boyfriend-stealing “milkaholic” baby.

Lohan filed the lawsuit Monday, which claims the ad violated the star’s rights under New York state civil-rights law. In the lawsuit, Lohan is seeking an injunction to force the spot off the air.
